Elias Chousleb, MD, is a board-certified bariatric surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery, bariatric endoscopy, and minimally-invasive digestive surgery. Dr. Chousleb completed his general surgery residency at New York Hospital Queens/Weill Cornell Medical College, where he graduated as Resident of the Year. He served as a clinical fellow in the Department of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida and developed a tool to teach laparoscopy skills in Latin America and Europe. He serves on the membership committee of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) as well as the editorial board of Surgical Endoscopy for Revista Bariátrica & Metabólica Iberoamericana.
