Jackson Health System Calls for Vigilance in Face of Rising COVID-19 Cases Nationally
Leaders and frontline healthcare workers urge Miami-Dade County residents to adhere to safety precautions
Jackson Health System is hosting a Zoom virtual press conference to encourage the public to help slow the spread of COVID-19. As cases due to the virus in Miami-Dade County approach more than 179,000, leaders from Jackson, which serves the most vulnerable populations, will be imploring the public to double down on safety measures to help keep at-risk people and healthcare workers safe.
Our local press conference will follow a national live event with leaders from Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ and America’s Essential Hospitals, the leading champion for hospitals and health systems dedicated to high-quality care for all, including the most vulnerable.
Jackson medical experts will also give an update on COVID-19, speak about flu season and the importance of flu vaccines, and offer safety tips for gatherings as we approach Halloween and the holiday season.
