JACKSON KICKS OFF HOLIDAY SEASON WITH ANNUAL SANTA PARADE

Santa Claus; Hialeah-Miami Lakes High Marching Band; City of Miami Fire Department personnel

Each holiday season, patients and visitors at Holtz Children’s Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital are treated to a visit from Santa Claus, accompanied by the marching band from Hialeah-Miami Lakes High School. The band parades around the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus, performing holiday favorites and entertaining visitors.

Santa arrives on a City of Miami Fire Department truck, is lifted up on an expanding hook-and-ladder towards the windows of Holtz Children’s Hospital and waves to patients inside the building.
