News & Events

Thousands attended the first Gay8 LGBT street festival in Calle Ocho.  Organizers, filmmaker Joe Cardona and financial advisor Damian Pardo, spent months planning the festival, which celebrated LGBT art, music and culture in the heart of Calle Ocho between 14th and 17th avenues. Jackson Health System joined in on the festivities with a fun rumbera themed photo booth. Hundreds came by to take pictures and receive free maracas!
