Heartfelt Reunion: Holtz patients and caregivers celebrate heart month
Holtz Children’s Hospital hosted this event to celebrate children who were born with congenital heart defects and successfully treated at Holtz. Patients and families from the Children’s Heart Center at Holtz shared stories, played games, and celebrated their survival with their former caregivers including physicians, nurses, and social workers. This is the only center in South Florida that offers the full spectrum of state-of-the-art cardiac services for babies in the womb, newborns, children and adults with congenital disease.
