Celebrating American Heart Month

Jackson recently hosted “JumpStart Your Heart,” an employee wellness event, at both Jackson Memorial Hospital and Jackson South Medical Center. The celebration, which honored American Heart Month, included a live Zumba class, giveaways, healthy snacks, and much more.

As miracle workers at Jackson, our employees continuously ensure our community is healthy every day. The event was Jackson’s way of giving backing to our hard working team members, while also promoting our social media campaign, #HeartsOfJackson, which featured healthy heart tips from some of our experts across the system. The Jackson Pop-Up Store was also open during the event, allowing employees to purchase a few of their favorite Jackson-branded items.
