UHealth Jackson Urgent Care Sponsors Miami Book Fair

UHealth Jackson Urgent Care sponsored the Children’s Alley at this year’s Miami Book Fair. For three days, the Children’s Alley taught more than 9,000 kids about when to go to an urgent care or emergency room, dental hygiene, nutrition, and much more! UHealth Jackson Urgent Care shared the space with the popular Holtz Children’s Hospital bear, and hosted a Jackson ABC’s learning game in the music factory tent next door. Parents got in on the fun and took home information about the opening of our additional urgent care centers, and even enjoyed spinning the wheel themselves.

In addition to the Children’s Alley, author George O’Connor visited the patients at Holtz Children’s. The children enjoyed story time, which featured O’Connor’s current Greek mythology series, The Olympians.
