How to Recreate McDonald’s Snack Wrap Without the Guilt
The McDonald’s Snack Wrap is finally making a comeback after nine years, and while fans are excited, you don’t have to wait in line (or break your health goals) to enjoy one. Here’s how to make a healthy alternative right at home.
Ingredients:
- One low-carb or carb-free wrap (try egg white wraps, lettuce leaves, or cheese wraps)
- One to two chicken tenders (air fried or baked)
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt or light ranch (for sauce)
- Optional: Hot sauce, pickles, or diced tomatoes for extra flavor
Instructions:
- Air fry or bake the chicken – Coat tenders in your choice of seasoning (paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper) and air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Prepare the wrap – Lay out your carb-free base.
- Assemble – Add chicken, lettuce, cheese, and your sauce of choice. Wrap tightly.
- Optional – Pop it back in the air fryer for one to two minutes to warm and crisp the edges.
Pro tip:
Swap cheddar for part-skim mozzarella or skip cheese altogether for fewer calories.
