Become a Volunteer

Jackson Health System offers unique programs and volunteer service opportunities for professionals, seniors, students, families, and groups. To become a Jackson volunteer, please complete an application, provide an immunization record, submit a letter of reference. We ask our volunteers to commit to four hours per week and 150 hours per year.

Adopt-A-Floor

The Adopt-A-Floor program involves a group of people adopting one or several of the hospital’s patient units. They plan one or various events (possibly on holidays) throughout the year based on the needs of their adopted unit.

The program is a wonderful vehicle for civic organizations, corporations, church groups, clubs and individuals to share their generosity and kindness with our patients and to help brighten their hospital stay.
