Miami, FL – VIP Universal Medical Insurance Group, LLC (VUMI), a leading international provider of medical insurance, and Jackson Health System will celebrate the renaming of the International Patient Reception Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital during a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 1, 2015.
VUMI and Jackson recently announced their new strategic partnership, after VUMI provided a $2 million contribution to the Jackson Health Foundation. These funds will go to support the Miracle Fund of the Jackson Health Foundation, the fundraising arm of Jackson Health System.

Our goal is to provide all of our clients with a VIP experience and we believe the medical care and service provided by Jackson Health System aligns with our mission,” said David Rendall, CEO at VUMI. “VUMI is committed to the Latin American market for the long term which has been demonstrated by our $2 million contribution.”
The VUMI International Patient Reception Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital is an upscale oasis for international patients and their families coming from the Caribbean, Latin America and the rest of the world. The center features first-class hospital amenities, in addition to luxurious waiting areas, examination rooms, and a full-service business center. The center is staffed 24 hours a day with hospitality coordinators to assist with every aspect of the patient’s stay. All of Jackson’s international patients are welcome to use the facility and services provided by the center.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. inside the International Patient Reception Center in West Wing at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Guests will enjoy a continental breakfast, as remarks are made by representatives of VUMI and Jackson Health System.
