James Jones, two-time NBA Champion and University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Inductee; Holtz Children’s patients

What:

Hometown hero and two-time NBA champion James Jones will take a break from practice, and visit patients at Holtz Children’s Hospital. The University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Inductee, who was born at Jackson Memorial Hospital, will play video games with patients, deliver gifts, pose for photos, and sign autographs.

This event will give these young patients an opportunity to leave their rooms and join in a fun activity with a sports icon. The veteran forward who spent six seasons with the Miami HEAT currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has deep roots in South Florida. Through the James Jones Legacy Foundation, he’s helped dozens of children through training camps, mentoring, and leadership programs and academic enrichment programs.
