What:

Doctors and nurses from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Holtz Children’s Hospital are celebrating the lives of children born prematurely and reuniting with them at the annual NICU Family Party. Children of all ages who have gone on to live healthy lives – some just months old, others who are teenagers – will celebrate with a holiday themed-party.

Guests will join the festivities dressed as their favorite holiday character. Children will accessorize stuffed animals courtesy of Build-A-Bear Workshop.

They will be joined by the doctors and nurses who care for them as infants in the Holtz Children’s NICU. Former patients, some of them born as early as 24 weeks gestation, and their parents will also play games, have photos taken and share stories with other families whose lives were touched by the Holtz Children’s NICU staff.
