2026-2027 U.S. News & World Report Ranks Holtz Children’s Hospital Among the Best in Florida; Three Programs Recognized Nationally

MIAMI, FL. – Holtz Children’s Hospital, in partnership with UHealth – University of Miami Health System, has been named among the best children’s hospitals in Florida by U.S. News & World Report. In the 2026-2027 rankings, Holtz Children’s was ranked among the top ten in Florida and 17^th in the Southeast, with three specialties ranked among the top 50 programs nationwide, and top three in Florida.

• Diabetes and Endocrinology is ranked 19th nationwide and third in Florida
• Nephrology is ranked 39th nationwide and first in Florida
• Gastroenterology and GI Surgery is ranked 47th nationwide and second in Florida

The U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals rankings are designed to help families find the best medical care for their children. Hospitals and programs are ranked based on clinical outcomes, patient safety, technology, specialized services, and more.
