Jackson Health System provides around-the-clock pastoral care for patients, families and staff through counseling, prayer, sacrament and worship according to their specific needs. We take pride in recruiting trained chaplains from all cultures and faiths to help meet the cultural dynamics and needs of our patients and their families. Our chaplains are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Clinical Pastoral Education
Pastoral Care Services offers three clinical pastoral education units per year. To download an application, click here. The application fee is $25 and the tuition fee is $500 per unit, payable to JHS Pastoral Care Services.
February – June
Classes are held on Mondays; 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Classes start on the first Monday in June to the end of the first week in August
Monday – Friday; 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Classes start on the third Monday in August until the first Monday in February
Mondays only; 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
