Jackson’s Real Estate Services Department oversees all real estate transactions on behalf of the Public Health Trust (PHT), and manages its diverse portfolio of leases, licenses, easements, permits, and other real estate agreements.

Retail Leasing Process
In accordance with Florida law, retail leases at PHT facilities are awarded through a formal, open, and competitive solicitation process. Once retail space at Jackson Marketplace is made available for lease, a request for proposals (RFP) or invitation to bid (ITB) is published here, and e-mail notifications are sent to the Real Estate Services Department’s e-mail list. Proposals and/or bids are evaluated based on the scoring criteria established in the solicitation document by an independent competitive selection committee.

With a more than 105-year history of offering world-class medical care in South Florida, the Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus is equipped with more than 1,500 patient beds.
Jackson Marketplace at Jackson Memorial Medical Center is located in the vibrant Health District, one of the country’s largest concentrations of medical and research facilities, and one of the largest employment bases in Miami-Dade County. Conveniently located on the ground level of the Park Plaza East and Park Plaza West parking garages, Jackson Marketplace retail tenants have direct access to more than 5,000 weekly garage visitors, as well as countless employees, students, and patients at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and surrounding Health District locations.

Jackson Health System is seeking qualified hospice and palliative care providers to lease two (2) designated clinical spaces located at Jackson Memorial Hospital and Jackson North Medical Center. These spaces are designed to support patient centered, supportive, and comfort focused care within a coordinated health care environment suitable for inpatient hospice, palliative care, or transitional care operations, subject to regulatory approvals.

Jackson West Medical Center is the PHT’s newest campus in the City of Doral. It is home to José Milton Memorial Hospital, a 100-bed state-of-the-art acute care facility, as well as cutting-edge surgical services, a wide variety of specialty physician clinics, and ample parking. Jackson West is easily accessible from Florida State Road 826 (Palmetto Expressway).
