Smart Room Technology
A special thank you to the Medina Family Foundation for their support in expanding the Smart Room Project at Jackson Health System. The Smart Room Project gives patients and their loved ones access to the GetWell Network, an electronic patient-centered platform that engages and empowers users to take a more active role in their health care. The project gives Jackson’s clinical teams easy-to-use tools to further advance the patient experience. Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UHealth/Jackson Memorial is currently using the new technology in their patient rooms. With the recent Medina Family Foundation gift, we will be able launch the Smart Room Project at other hospital locations throughout our health system.
