About Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center
Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center is a long-term care facility located on a beautiful 11-acre campus in South Dade. The medical center is a licensed, 163-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. We provide care for a diverse adult resident population. Our mission is to provide a single high standard of quality of care.
Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center was recognized as one of the Best Nursing Homes 2021 in the state of Florida by Newsweek.
Jackson Memorial Perdue Medical Center is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified facility. We are surveyed annually by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
Several outstanding programs in rehabilitation and restorative therapies are offered, such as our unique Spinal Cord Program, which is affiliated with the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Our dementia and traumatic brain-injured residents benefit from the Behavior Enrichment Structured Therapy (B.E.S.T. ) program, which meets five-and-a-half days per week and is managed by a clinical social worker and two certified nursing assistants.
All of our residents benefit from the therapeutic Recreation program, which provides a variety of activities, including on-campus and community-based programs through Miami-Dade County Parks and Recreation. Our recreational programs specially address the preferences of our diverse cultural population, and are conducted in the preferred language of the resident, be it English, Spanish, or Creole.

Staff are specially trained and/or licensed in adult medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation nursing, and restorative nursing.
