Palliative Care

Jackson Health System offers palliative care for adult and pediatric patients.

We adhere to the concept of “patient first” to accommodate the patient’s individual needs and promote a sense of wholeness and well-being.

Palliative care is the comprehensive care and management of the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their families with chronic, debilitating or life-threatening illness. The program emphasizes the importance of education and communication with patients and families to help them have a better understanding of the underlying disease process.

The palliative care team is available 24/7 to provide timely access to inpatient palliative care and consultation services.
