The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation named all six Jackson Health System hospitals “Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality” for the eighth time.

Designated Primary Stroke Center by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA)
The Primary Stroke Center designation means Jackson South is qualified to treat ischemic stroke patients in acute phases and evaluate if clot-busting drugs can be administered within the first three hours of symptom onset.

Received Prestigious International Baby-Friendly Designation
We are proud to be designated a Baby-Friendly Hospital for giving mothers the skills and support needed to feed and bond with their child. Designated 2017 – 2022.

How do I get to Jackson South?
Jackson South Medical Center is located at 9333 S.W. 152nd Street:
From US 1: Take US 1 to S.W. 152nd Street. Turn onto S.W. 152nd Street heading west. The hospital will be on the right side past the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Station and the Miami-Dade Public Library.
From Florida’s Turnpike: Take the turnpike to S.W. 152nd Street and drive east. The hospital will be right before the US 1 intersection on the left side.
What are my parking options at Jackson South?
Free Parking
For the convenience of our patients and visitors, parking at Jackson South is free.
Baby Stroller Permit
Stroller parking permits are available to parents of children younger than 3 years old, allowing for convenient parking at designated spaces across Miami-Dade County. To purchase a permit, parents or legal guardians (with supporting documents) will need to submit a photo ID, and either a child’s original birth certificate, footprints, or hospital wristband. The permit costs $35.
